Jordan Quinn Photo - Wedding at Aspen Meadows
From jaw dropping mountain vistas to intimate backyard ceremonies, each wedding painting is infused with your vision.
My journey to "live wedding painter"
has been nothing short of a lifetime in the making. The inevitable question, "How long have you been painting?" comes up at nearly every event and my answer frequently ends with, "essentially, forever".

After finally accepting that I should indeed be in Art School, I pivoted to Art Education; a seemingly secure path. I spent five years in the Elementary Art Classroom creating landscape paintings whenever I found a free moment. I eventually decided to chase my dreams after many years of telling my students to follow theirs.

Looking back, the skills I developed as a teacher have enabled me to jump into the role of live artist. The comfort of painting while chatting with guests feels not unlike talking through a demonstration with my students.
As a landscape painter first and foremost, I have spent many hours painting in the backcountry and continue to work extensively on my own studio art practice. Translating those particular skills to a luxurious outdoor wedding ceremony is second nature and a place where I feel most in tune with myself.

Capturing moving light, unexpected color, and the immense energy and joy you exude on your day fills me with happiness. Each painting is a labor of love that uniquely captures the feeling of you and your day. I'm anxiously awaiting the vision you have for your live art experience and look forward to partnering in the creative process!

Custom Wedding Artwork
Created from photos of your wedding day, commissioned paintings are perfect for capturing the essence of your mountain wedding ceremony on canvas.
Studio paintings are a popular option for wedding gifts.
In studio custom artwork also includes: portrait watercolors, custom work for event stationary, Ketubahs, venue paintings, party favors and more.
LOVE, family, experiences, feelings,
JOY, precious places
I believe a painting serves as the perfect time capsule to solidify the magic of you and your day. It manages to wrap up all of the best things in life, which happen to be the things you can't buy.
Years, or even decades later, if you really allow yourself to sit with your piece, you are instantly brought back to your momentous day as a couple.
You remember what it felt like, how big the mountains were, the way they can be so silent it is deafening, and whether or not there was a breeze. Beyond what the day was physically like, you remember who you were, the way you looked, felt, and the love that filled you to the brim.
A painting is an invitation to journey back to the couple you were (and continue to be) and get lost all over again in the experience of it all.
